OUSD Expanded Learning Programs

Students participate in a weekly interactive Spanish lesson that includes both language learning and cultural experiences. The program is supervised by a Running Springs teacher or staff member, but taught by a teacher who resides in a country in which the language being taught is the native language spoken (Latin America). The students will connect to the language teacher via video conferencing software and our Running Springs staff member is present in the classroom for support. After the language and culture lesson, students will use resources and activities that contextualize and extend the learning of the lesson.
